Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our frameless glass shower screens. Cleaning, installation, delivery, and returns.
How do I clean a glass shower screen?
Keep a squeegee on hand to wipe down the shower screen after each use. This removes dirty or chlorinated water from drying on the glass and silicone joints, keeping your glass cleaner longer and preventing mould. Once a week, clean with soapy water such as Morning Fresh to keep the glass sparkling. Read more
How do I keep my shower screen clean long-term?
Squeegee the shower screen glass down after each use. This prevents dirty water from drying on the glass, which can embed into the glass pores over time and become difficult to remove. Read more
How do I install a frameless shower screen?
Our shower screens come with pre-drilled bracket holes and mounting hardware. With basic handyman experience and a drill, installation is straightforward. Check our measuring guide and blog for detailed tips and tricks.
Do you offer installation services?
No, we do not offer installation. Our products are designed for DIY installation. If you are not confident installing yourself, we recommend hiring a local glazier or handyman.
Do I need a licence to install it myself in NSW?
For most homeowners putting a supply-only screen into their own bathroom, no: the NSW contractor licence applies to building or trade work valued at more than $5,000 in labour and materials, and it's aimed at people doing work for others. Waterproofing is the part that matters, so fix any leak before you fit the glass. This is general information only, not legal advice, so check your own situation with NSW Fair Trading. Read more
My walls aren't square. Will a stock panel fit?
Frameless panels are made perfectly square, and toughened glass can't be cut or trimmed after it's made. Panels won't fit if your walls are more than 5mm out of plumb, so check each wall with a spirit level before you order. If every reading is 5mm or less, you're in good shape. Read more
How heavy is the glass?
Every square metre of 10mm glass weighs around 25kg, so a 900mm fixed panel is about 45kg. Plan for two people on delivery day and on install day. Read more
Are frameless shower screens safe?
Yes. All our shower screen glass is 10mm thick Clear Grade A safety toughened glass, manufactured to Australian standards.
Is frameless glass expensive?
Frameless glass is relatively inexpensive compared to framed shower screens, especially if you install it yourself. Our fixed panels start from $193.60 inc. GST, including the wall brackets. All prices on the site include GST.
Do frameless shower screens leak?
A frameless screen doesn't have a rubber seal all the way round like an old framed one, so whether water stays in comes down to the layout, the width of the glass and what's happening at the floor. For a walk-in, aim for a panel of 900mm or wider and plan where the shower head points. On a door, seals and a water bar handle the gaps, and we sell water seals and waterbars to help reduce water egress underneath the door. Read more
Are frameless shower screens better than framed?
Frameless shower screens give your bathroom a spacious, modern look compared to framed screens. With no frame, there are fewer places for dirt and grime to build up, making them easier to clean. Replacing an old framed screen with frameless glass can instantly modernise your bathroom.
How long does delivery take?
Current lead times are 3 to 8 business days. Read more about delivery day
Where do you deliver to?
We currently service the Sydney Metropolitan Area only. Delivery across Sydney Metro: $110 per order (inc GST). It covers delivery of the glass and hardware together.
What if I am not home when delivery arrives?
For smaller hardware items, authority to leave at a safe place is available (you accept all risk). Glass panel delivery is kerbside only. You must check and unload panels yourself. We recommend having someone help as panels can be heavy. If no one is available, goods will be returned to the warehouse and redelivery charges will apply. Read more
What is the return policy?
Hardware items can be exchanged within 10 business days. We do not refund for change of mind returns. Glass must be inspected at the time of delivery. If damaged on delivery, goods will be exchanged at no cost. Glass that is accepted and unloaded is deemed in good condition.
Is there a warranty?
Hardware carries a 12-month warranty. Due to the nature of glass, glass must be inspected at time of delivery and any damage reported immediately for a free exchange.
Do you provide a tracking number?
When we receive your paid order, an email will be sent to your provided email address with despatch details and predicted delivery time.
